The Tao Group moves to Asia
As of February 2005, the founders of The Tao Group decided the Asian market provided a better competitive edge in terms of production, competitiveness, knowledge gap, and geographical distance from the American continent. In September 2005, headquarters for The Tao Group were setup in Bangkok, Thailand; a strategic position in Asia, both geographically and as a travel hub.
Exploring China
In early 2006, due to increasing customer interest in the Chinese market, The Tao Group opened its doors for business through a regional office in Hong Kong, and established liasons with a trading company based in Shanghai and Shenzhen, China.
Regional Presence in Mexico
Exports to Mexico led to the setup of an importing and distributing subsidiary company named Asian Tao S.A. de C.V. in 2007 in order to better serve existing customers and expand it's reach to new market sectors.
